To Apply

  • Current opportunities can be viewed on our career postings page.  Please follow the application procedures specified in the individual postings.  A separate application or résumé is required for each competition, unless otherwise indicated.
  • Always quote the position you are applying for on your application and ensure that you include an e-mail address and telephone number where you can be contacted.
  • Your application/résumé must clearly identify how you meet each of the stated qualifications in the competition posting.  In some cases, a questionnaire specifically designed for a competition may be required, or the posting may state that a qualifications table must be completed.
  • We prefer your application electronically, submitted in MS Word or Adobe PDF only.  If you do not have e-mail, we will accept applications by fax or post, however please ensure that your application arrives before the closing date and time.

By submitting an application or resume, you are confirming that you are aware of and consent to the following conditions:

  • The information provided in your application/résumé, and attachments is true and complete.  If any information in your application/résumé, or attachments is found to be untrue or incomplete your application may be rejected, and you may be dismissed in the event that you are the successful applicant.
  • References regarding your past work performance may be obtained from your current and previous employers.  Applicants who are not Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC (FFSBC) employees will be contacted prior to contacting references.
  • Criminal record checks may be required for some positions.
